Chapter 22 (CS ):
Kit and Peter were traveling the road to London. There were no houses or people for miles except for this one blind man who was looking for his black dog. They were very scared that there horses would get really tired and Sir Philip would catch them. They decided to rest at an Inn. The managers of the Inn were very welcoming and they directed them to the town. They told them that it was very important not to pass through Virgin Mine because they were a lot thief’s that would steal there horses. When they stopped at Virgin Mine they met a lot of minors. They also met a beggar that had been staying at the Inn. The beggar looked very suspicious so Kit and Peter were very aware. The beggar and his friends wanted to attack Kit and Peter. They did and planed to kill them, to do so they were going to push them into a hole. Right before Kit and Peter were going to get pushed Sir Philip arrived and ignored Kit and Peter and chased after the beggar.
Chapter 23 (SSB ):
After being ambushed and captured, they escaped with two horses among the fells. It was a long and endless road that made Kit very tired. They had to stop, but their captors were only moments away. Eventually, Peter and Kit stopped somewhere remotely safe. At least they thought it was safe until they heard voices and the clip-clop of horses. Peter went to go investigate the voices. Peter was very surprised when he heard the voice of Mr. Desmond and his actors recite a part from Mr. Marlowe’s play. Peter and Kit told Mr. Desmond everything that had happened to them. Mr. Desmond discussed a plan with them so they could capture Sir Phillip and the other traitors. At first, Peter thought the plan wouldn’t work and Mr. Desmond was being too egotistical but somehow Sir Phillip and his men bought his well planned out story and were captured. Though this was a happy moment seeing Sir Phillip bound in rope, they suddenly realized they had to save the queen and in so little time.
Chapter 24-25 (HM ):
In these chapters a lot of eventful things happened. The queen comes to see Shakespeare’s play and Somers did not have the guts to shoot the queen so the queen doe not die. The conspirators go to jail. The queen gave the land that Sir. Phillip had stolen back to the people. Sir. Phillip was killed. Peter and Kit got married and had children.
